BUTLER CITY, Pa. -- A family was able to escape their burning home on Monday.

Firefighters said the blaze started around 9:30 a.m. at a house on North Monroe Street in Butler City.

First responders said all residents, including the family's dog and cat, were able to get out safely.

There is no word on what caused the blaze.
